The research department at St. Joseph’s Care Group (SJCG) in Thunder Bay is inviting applied health researchers to present their work at its fourth annual “Making a Difference: 2009 Showcase of Applied Health Research” February 6th.
The event provides a unique forum for researchers to disseminate their work and expose health-care providers and students to cutting-edge research that they can incorporate into clinical practice.
“Researchers need opportunities to showcase their work and St. Joseph’s Care Group continues to be a leader in supporting such initiatives,” said Dr. Michael Bedard, SJCG director of research.
The objectives of the conference are to showcase research relevant to the programs and services provided by St. Joseph’s, provide a forum for the dissemination of research findings, facilitate research uptake and foster the opportunity for networking and partnerships.
